Project Description

TG+P is working with Village Partners and Arteco Partners on the redevelopment of a parcel of approximately 12 acres in Claremont, a major portion of the upcoming Village South Specific Plan. Only a quarter mile from the Claremont Metrolink and Future Gold Line Station, the Village South at Claremont will be a transit-oriented mixed-use development. Currently the site of industrial manufacturing and a decades-long vacant car dealership, this vibrant and sustainable South Village neighborhood will be a unique distinctive place for the local community, while preserving local culture and heritage of Claremont Village by providing a mix of uses including housing, retail, office, public market, public plaza, and public green space.

The project is being designed and developed with special attention to historic preservation and adaptive reuse; active mobility and connectivity; inclusivity and sustainability. The South Village will provide a diverse range of walkable and highly amenitized housing options. But the most important amenity to any neighborhood is the public realm we create to promote interaction of neighbors, friends, and family while serving their needs within walkable reach.
