Miramar Town Center

Miramar, FL
This master plan offers a dynamic mix of uses to promote a happy and healthy quality of life to be enjoyed by the inhabitants of this great American town.

The Town of Miramar hired Torti Gallas + Partners to help create a vibrant master plan for their new Town Center.  Its goals were to offer one place where residents and visitors of the town could participate in civic, commercial and community life -- including City Hall, a cultural arts center, a library and an education center -- connected to residential, office and commercial uses.

Setting the stage for what has been called the "human drama" of life, the master plan for Miramar Town Center provides spaces for the varied roles of daily life. The master plan includes a variety of urban places - streets and boulevards with plazas and parks among them - while the architecture supports and frames these places. The program offers a dynamic mix of uses to promote a happy and healthy quality of life to be enjoyed by the inhabitants of this great American town.
