Two New Traffic Gardens Open in DC!!

Torti Gallas-designed Traffic Gardens open in Washington, DC!!

We were proud to attend the ribbon cuttings for traffic gardens at Aiton Elementary and Neval Thomas Elementary in Washington, DC's Ward 7!

Working with George Mason University, The Bureau of Good Roads, Safe Routes to School National Partnership and the Washington Area Bicyclist Association (WABA), Torti Gallas designed traffic gardens for the DC Public Schools & Biking in the Park program.

We are excited to be part of this team and were thrilled to see these traffic gardens in action! We know that through this wonderful collaboration we have created a safe zone that will be fun and will save lives – it doesn’t get any better than that!
