Torti Gallas + Partners is proud to be a sponsor of the 2017 Habitat for Humanity Women Build. The Women Build nationwide initiative raises funds and awareness, and advocates for low-income women in need of housing.
Torti Gallas has partnered with Habitat For Women to build a house in a designated community in Washington, DC on September 23rd. We will provide financial contributions and the labor. At Torti Gallas we believe that providing housing for single mothers who are often fleeing abusive situations is one way to show these women that they are not alone in their struggles to protect themselves and their families. Torti Gallas has been designing housing in the Washington area for over 65 years, and we are committed to providing a safe and decent place for everyone to live.
In addition to our "Build Day" on the 23rd, we will also be attending the first Women Build gala on September 14th to celebrate with others committed to this important endeavor.
