Torti Gallas is proud to have recently attended the Grand Opening of The Mirrorton in Lakeland, Florida!!

The Mirrorton is a 10-acre transformative development bringing an urban lifestyle to downtown Lakeland, Florida. Nestled close to Lakeland’s historic landmark Lake Mirror, this new, mixed-use neighborhood consists of 305 new homes in multiple three-story buildings, a signature four-story building and townhomes. The design extends the street grid through the site and seamlessly integrates into the existing city streetscape context.

Developed by Framework Group, The Mirrorton’s urban, outdoor lifestyle is complemented by a stellar amenities package which includes an expansive, recreational lawn that acts as the “front yard” for an in-ground pool with lounging deck and outdoor yoga area. The lawn includes 2 large canopy trees preserved as a reminder of the historic nature of the area while simultaneously providing a landmark at the main entrance and shade for lounging and reading areas. The 8,900 SF Clubhouse building contains leasing and management offices and amenity spaces including a fitness center, sauna, business center, coffee bar, pet spa, and club rooms with kitchen prep area. All residents have access to the clubhouse and outdoor amenities.

The development features electric car charging stations located onsite and a community dog park. The landscaping elements include bio-retention ponds buffering the site from a busy expressway nearby as well as multiple areas for outdoor seating near the Clubhouse.

Previously owned by the City of Lakeland Community Redevelopment Agency this public-private partnership development included extensive coordination with the City, the Downtown Community Redevelopment Agency and the citizens of Lakeland.
