The Beacon Center is Open!

Torti Gallas was proud to attend the ribbon cutting for The Beacon Center in the Brightwood neighborhood of Northwest Washington, DC!

This transformative project provides 99 affordable residences - 18 of which are permanent supportive housing units - in a new building which wraps around the existing historic Emory United Methodist Church. The new building also contains commercial and office uses, a community space with a 1/2 basketball court, and classrooms for day and night school. Additionally, it provides the Emory Fellowship with a renovated and expanded worship space, and the complex as a whole embodies the church’s mission of community service.
