Spotlight on One501 Eckington!!

One501 Eckington, a new mixed-use residential building in Washington, DC, offers 327 apartment homes, state-of-the-art amenities and street level retail!

This new mixed-use residential building designed by Torti Gallas and developed by Foulger-Pratt offers 327 new homes in a mix of studio, 1- and 2-bedroom apartments with state-of-the-art amenities and 7,500 SF of ground level retail. The building also includes 9 two-story artists’ lofts in recognition of the displacement of local artists as more industrial parts of the city have been redeveloped. Five of these lofts are offered to artists earning less than 60% of the area median income.

Located at 1501 Harry Thomas Way, NE adjacent to the new Alethia Tanner Park developed by the NoMa Parks Foundation, the building includes a landscaped courtyard with a pool, seating areas, a green roof and a rooftop deck with views to the Capitol. Street level retail enlivens the pedestrian experience and offers residents shopping and dining at their doorstep.

Inspired by the rich history of the neighborhood, One501 incorporates a collection of façade styles ranging from more historically derived industrial to a modern interpretation of the industrial style.

One501 Eckington has been LEED Gold certified by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
