Park Van Ness Wins an Urban Guild Design Excellence Award!

Park Van Ness in Washington, DC, developed by Saul Centers, receives a 2020 Urban Guild Design Excellence Award!!

Torti Gallas is very proud to announce that Park Van Ness, developed by Saul Centers, has received a 2020 Urban Guild Award in the Design Excellence category! The Urban Guild Design Excellence Awards celebrate built design work that masterfully applies timeless design principles in a manner that refines them and best integrates them into their urban context.

Park Van Ness, located on Connecticut Avenue in Northwest Washington, DC is a 271-unit mixed-use development which has become a catalyst for revitalization in the Van Ness neighborhood. 11 stories of prime view residential units on the back of the building overlook Rock Creek Park, while 6 stories on the front maintain a sensitivity to the character of Connecticut Avenue. The project also includes 224 below grade parking spaces and 10,000 SF of neighborhood friendly retail.

Park Van Ness replaced a mid-grade commercial building with a vibrant mixed-use development, revitalizing a rather bleak portion of Washington, DC’s Connecticut Avenue in the Van Ness neighborhood.

This beautifully designed, Art Deco style building provides its residents with a full range of first-class amenities, including a gracious lobby, generous fitness facility, spacious clubroom, wi-fi lounge, rooftop pool deck, rooftop terraces, and three courtyards all with park views.

The combination of quality design and incredible views of the park make this building one of DC’s best addresses.

Congratulations to all!!
