Torti Gallas + Partners is most proud to announce that our own Lawrence “Murphy” Antoine has been elevated to the American Institute of Architect’s College of Fellows! Murphy’s AIA Fellowship was bestowed in recognition of an achieved standard of excellence in the profession and his significant contribution to architecture and society at a national level through the promotion of architectural and planning practices in the field of affordable housing.
Murphy is a Principal at Torti Gallas where he leads the Village Segment, concentrating on the urban design, planning and architecture of affordable, work-force, market-rate, and mixed income housing at the scale and density of neighborhood. His efforts to implement housing policy and market response through appropriate and contextual architecture and neighborhood planning have manifested themselves nationwide in over seventy greenfield and revitalization projects and numerous national design awards during his tenure at Torti Gallas.
