Brooks and Vale Break Ground at The Parks at Walter Reed!

Torti Gallas was proud to attend the groundbreaking for Brooks & Vale at The Parks at Walter Reed last week!!

As part of the winning Hines-Urban Atlantic-Triden team that is transforming the former Walter Reed Army Medical Center into The Parks, Torti Gallas designed Brooks and Vale, the first two mixed-use and mixed-income buildings to be built on the former campus. Both The Brooks, an 89-unit condominium building, and The Vale, a 301-unit apartment building, include street level retail and exceptional amenities. In addition to creating the developer-led master plan for the 66-acre site, Torti Gallas led the entitlement process for these new buildings, including neighborhood and Historic Preservation Review Board review.
