2021 Institute of Classical Architecture & Art
The ICAA Washington Mid Atlantic Chapter celebrates excellence in traditional architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, preservation, urbanism, and artisanship through the biennial John Russell Pope Awards. Founded in 2015, the awards recognize those who contribute to the creation of classical and traditional architecture in the Washington Mid-Atlantic region.
40-unit condominium building designed to blend into the character of the surrounding rowhouse neighborhood. The largest residential historic district in the District of Columbia, Capitol Hill is composed of rowhouses of various styles and periods which sit side-by-side, forming a continuous wall broken only by street intersections.
