Project Description
Torti Gallas designed Notch 8 as part of The Exchange at Potomac Yard, the new mixed-use, transit-oriented town center at Potomac Yard in Alexandria, Virginia. This exciting mixed-use residential-retail project on a 1.9 acre site includes a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom residences, some of which are designed as affordable. Built around a residential courtyard with a pool and other amenities, the six-story building includes a 65,000 SF Giant grocery store on the ground level and underground parking for 478 cars. The future Potomac Yard Metro station with Yellow and Blue Line service will be adjacent to the new Town Center.
