As director of Torti Gallas’ Town Center District Segment, Mr. Ashtary’s 30+ years of design experience on various project types are a key contributor to the firm’s success. As a leader in the creation of innovative housing typologies, his ability to relate architectural design to the economics of construction, and to the marketability of a design solution has been key to his success. Mr. Ashtary’s designs have received numerous national design awards, attesting to his understanding of the relationship of the building form within its community as well as his focused leadership in the residential marketplace.
Mr. Ashtary received a Titre d’Architecte from the Victor Horta School of Architecture in Brussels, Belgium and is a Registered Architect in the District of Columbia.
